Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta

Beretta is an Italian manufacturer of firearms. These weapons are used throughout the world by police, armies as well as civilians. Beretta also produces clothing appropriate to shooting and other related accessories.

Begun in the year 1526, Beretta is one of the world’s oldest makers of firearms and has been run by the same family for going on 600 years. It all began when Maestro Bartolomeo Beretta of Gardone Val Trompia was given 296 ducats for 185 arquebus barrels by the Arsenal of Venice. The receipt for the order still exists and is in the archives of the Berreta Company.
